Analgesic/Antipyretic Non- Steroidal Anti - Inflammatory Drug

Indication​

Paracetamol + Ibuprofen is used in the symptomatic management of pain and fever.
It is used in the management of mild to moderate pain in condition such as dysmenorrhea,
migraine, postoperative pain, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis,
and rheumatoid arthritis, and in the other musculoskeletal and joint disorders such as strains and sprains.

Paracetamol + ibuprofen should given be given with care to patients with
impaired kidney or renal function and with active peptic ulcerations.
It should be given with care to patients with alcohol dependence.
Ibuprofen it should be used with cautions in patients with a history of such disorder.


Care is required in those who are receiving coumarin anticoagulants.
Patients who are also sensitive to aspirin or other Non-steroidal
anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID’S) should generally not be given ibuprofen.​


What is ibuprofen + paracetamol use for ?​
  • Relieve mild-to-moderate pain in conditions such as toothache, ear pain, joint pain, headache, pain during menses, etc. It is also used in fever.

Is Fast Relax safe for pregnant women?​

  • No, The non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) family of painkillers (including ibuprofen, naproxen and diclofenac) are not suitable for use in the third trimester of pregnancy

Is Fast Relax safe for lactating mothers?​

  • Yes, a combination product containing both paracetamol and ibuprofen can also be used during breastfeeding.​

Can you take paracetamol and ibuprofen together at the same time?​
